Stannah Fleet Services bags award at the Fleet News Awards
Stannah has been named Fleet of the Year (251-1,000 vehicles) at the 2023 Fleet News Awards held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 15 March.
Fleet News Awards is a prestigious industry event in its 35th year. At this year’s awards Stannah was part of more than 40 businesses and people that were recognised at the ceremony.
A judging panel spent five days deliberating to reach their conclusions having gone through a wealth of outstanding entries, including a record number in the fleet categories.
To win the award Stannah beat competition from Altrad Services, National House-Building Council, Oxford City Council, Platform Housing Group and Yodel.
Denise Hawkins, Fleet Manager at Stannah, said, “I was so proud to have been given the opportunity to represent Stannah at these awards and bring home the much-deserved award to the team. They should be very proud of all the work they put in daily to maintain the high standards in our fleet. Winning this award is worthy recognition of the excellent work over the past 12 months.”
Denise adds, “The night was great fun and a wonderful opportunity to network with my fellow fleet professionals and service providers and all be there together to celebrate the best in the industry.”
The Fleet News judges said of our win: “Outstanding use of data and strong reporting has resulted in an efficient fleet that is reducing both cost and carbon, with full engagement of key stakeholders. Excellent innovation, robust grey fleet policies and an EV-first strategy that has set the business on its transition plan.”
