As a family business with over 150 years of heritage behind us and strong family values, we have built a reputation around the globe for our integrity. We are absolutely determined to uphold that reputation. Whether that is making certain that all our employees, suppliers and stakeholders are operating ethically and honestly at all times or ensuring our employees operate in an environment free from bullying and any form of harassment or discrimination, we make it a priority to investigate and act upon any report of inappropriate behaviour. It is vitally important for us that our employees are comfortable in their roles and properly supported when issues arise. Equally, we want to ensure that our customers, suppliers, distributors and other stakeholders can have the same confidence that they will be supported if they are subject to or witness any inappropriate behaviour.
Inappropriate behaviour includes:
- bullying, harassment or discrimination
- sexual harassment
- illegal, underhand or unacceptable behaviours
- fraud, theft, dishonesty or financial misconduct
- bribery, corruption or unethical business practices
- health and safety violations or failure to comply with legal obligations
- modern slavery or human trafficking
- damage to the environment
- misuse of data or privacy concerns
- any other behaviours likely to cause personal or commercial harm or bring our business in to disrepute
Reporting concerns is a vital part of protecting our workplace and maintaining a culture of trust, respect and integrity, so should any matters of concern arise, we urge our employees to report any issues. All information will be treated in the strictest confidence and reports can be made without any fear of reprisal.
To report a concern, employees can chose their preferred channel:
- Talk through any concerns with a line manager. They are there to support employees and will handle any concerns sensitively and confidentially.
- Speak to the local HR team or email grouphr@stannah.co.uk
- Email the family office at groupsupport@stannah.co.uk
- Or, should there be serious concerns that an employee is uncomfortable talking about internally, they can contact our independent and confidential whistleblowing service provided by Navex Global through a dedicated website:
secure.ethicspoint.com - Employees can also contact Navex Global by phone and should refer to the whistleblowing policy to find the relevant number for each country.
