Stannah employees donate a further £39,380 to support the Ukrainian cause

The people of Ukraine continue to be affected by the ongoing war. At Stannah we stand with Ukraine and continue to call for an immediate ceasefire and diplomatic resolution. Further to our recent corporate donation, we are proud of our amazing employees who have raised a further fantastic £19,690 for charities providing all-important humanitarian aid to the brave people of Ukraine.

Contributions from UK, Spain and the US all went towards the Disasters Emergency Appeal (DEC). Funds raised in Portugal, France, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Norway, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Slovakia went to a variety of different charities including Portuguese, Norwegian and Slovak Red Cross organisations, United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), Consortium 12-12, Fleuchtlingshilfe and Daruj Spravne. These charities are all providing vital support to those facing the horror and the brutalities of this war.

Stannah has match funded employee donations and together with the £45,000 donation the Group made in March, employees and the business have now donated a phenomenal £84,380 to support Ukraine.

The Stannah family feels it is vital to stand up for democracy and play our part as global citizens. While we sincerely hope for a swift resolution to the war, we hope that our funding helps improve the situation of some of the millions of Ukrainians that are having to contend with this ongoing and harrowing situation.
