Stannah joins the Captain Tom 100 with a £100 donation per stairlift sold
It is just over a year since Captain Tom walked into our lives and our hearts, a beacon of positivity and hope at a time of darkness and uncertainty.
To mark what would have been his 101st birthday we are delighted to have joined forces with The Captain Tom Foundation on their Captain Tom 100 campaign.
We’ll be encouraging our employees, customers, people everywhere across the country to take up the challenge of doing 100 anythings across the four days from 30 April – what would have been Tom’s 101st birthday – to 3 May.
We’ll also be donating £100 for each stairlift we sell in the UK* from 19 April to 9 May to help The Captain Tom Foundation further its important mission to bring hope to where it is needed most. The Foundation supports charities close to Tom’s heart which are focused on combating loneliness, promoting equality and supporting the NHS and other health related causes.
Through this campaign, The Captain Tom Foundation will help charities including The Mix, Young Minds and Place2Be and their vital work supporting our young people’s mental health as we emerge from the pandemic.
