Family-run British firm Stannah has topped the polls in an independent review of the best stairlifts on the UK market.

Family-run British firm Stannah has topped the polls in a survey of the best stairlifts on the UK market.

The satisfaction survey, published by consumer Which?, gave the Andover-based firm top rankings across all categories – rating it in particular for reliability, usability, comfort and quality.

All in all, Stannah received the highest customer score of 74%, based on reviews by more than 500 members of the public.

In the report, Which? said of Stannah, “Stannah is probably the most recognised brand in the stairlift market and, according to our satisfaction survey, is also the best…outscoring its competitors across almost every category.”

98% of customers surveyed said their Stannah stairlift met or exceeded their expectations.
