Realise your full potential with Stannah
Apprenticeships have always played an important role in our business. Our founder, Joseph Stannah, actively campaigned for them in the 1800s, voicing their worth and value to the company. Today, over 150 years later, we remain passionate about skilled individuals passing on their knowledge to the next generation, helping each one develop and grow.
Why choose an apprenticeship?
Becoming an apprentice is an excellent way to gain hands-on experience while earning a salary and working towards a professional qualification. To be eligible you will need to have completed full-time education to be eligible.
A Stannah apprenticeship focuses on hands-on experience while working towards a recognised professional qualification, typically taking 1 to 4 years to complete. An apprentice will spend most of their time working alongside a Stannah colleague, some time at college, or with a professional training provider.

Nilay Patel
Supply Chain Degree Apprentice
"The main thing that inspired me to choose a degree apprenticeship rather than going down the traditional university route is that this kind of apprenticeship provides the best of both worlds. Having the ability to earn a minimum of 3 years of industry experience, a salary all whilst also studying a degree gives you much more leverage when it comes to other candidates. "
Jamie Peacock
Apprentice Supply Chain Coordinator
"Since joining the business, I have been given the opportunities to improve and develop on my communication skills, both inside the business, as well as through external communication through suppliers & through my course. "
Hamish Wain
Design Engineer Apprentice, Engineering
